We are very fortunate that the Manor complex has so much common space.

It is often possible to use the public areas for events. Any MCR member who wishes to hold an event in the Manor should contact the Assistant Praefectus in the first instance. In the case of large or potentially noisy gatherings permission is required from both the President of the MCR and the Praefectus. During the examination period, usually between 4th and 8th week of Trinity Term, permission for social events is not given out of consideration for residents.

Rowing is the great Oxford sport and Balliol has a great recent track record with the Women currently Head of the River. If you like the idea of brandishing an oar, this could be for you.
